It's been three weeks since Elysian Fields made its comeback, and there hasn't been anything slowing it down since. If you haven't already heard about Elysian Fields, it is an alternative "clan scene" that thrives on teamwork, dedication, structure, and rivalry. There are four Houses, which are each led by one leader. These four Houses(Alexandria, Bevelle, Cosmo Canyon, and Dollet) will be in constant battle with each other for the illustrious Elysian Shield, which is obtained by which House has the most Points of Prestige(PoP) at the end of the nine month season. The Elysian Shield and PoP is what us Elysians eat, breathe, and sleep.

Only one week left for Month One of Elysian Leagues, and there are some players that have already earned their Houses some considerable amount of PoP. Each month starts a new round of leagues. The "Trade Machine," also known as Delial, has been picking people off one at a time in Trade League, with four wins and one tie. Flare is currently leading the Random League with 8 wins and one loss. And he said he just got back from a long break, what's he play like when he plays all the time?! Noyn leads the TTN League with three wins and one loss. Pride of Origin is being taken over by Arivior with 7 wins, 5 losses.

When thinking about Elysian Fields as a whole, the two questions that we as admins were curious about was, "What made people want to join Elysian Fields?" and "What do they like the most about Elysian Fields?" So... we went to the sources! We asked for volunteers in this questionnaire, and asked them these two questions.

Why did you first signup for Elysian Fields?

«Flare» I already signed up for the 1st "try" a few months ago, because the idea is quite a nice addition to the clan scene and TTA in general. Apart from that I was very curious what this Elysian is all about.

«Midas» I wanted to try something new. The whole idea about that house system with them ranks sounded fantastic to me. It was a good decision. :)

«Toshiro» I signed up because it sounded like a fun thing, a clan mate of mine kinda pushed a little bit though to get me to actually do it, but I liked the idea from the start when I heard it :)

«Cefca» Well, I originally signed up for the first ill fated Elysian and when it came around the second time I was hoping it would go the distance this time. It's a great idea and I want to be a part of it.

«Shaggz» When I decided to sign up for elysian fields i was highly motivated by the alternate clan scene idea. When I came back from my long absence, nothing, and i mean nothing, changed in the TTA clan scene. So i wanted to get in on the new blood, and so far it’s been more then worth it.

«Kirkee» Scott persuaded me to join, but it was because I realized it was a good way to get some good, competitive games.

«Feeling Lucky» Because I was in the first one, and I personally feel like I can help make the project succeed the second time around.

What do you like most about Elysian Fields?

«Flare» I'd say I like the competition between the houses most. Also I like that there are so many ways of "battling" the other houses (Pride of Origin, Olympics and so on). I must give you credit for this creativity. :P

«Midas» I like that competition between the different houses the most. The goal of the Elysian Shield really pushes the members up and maybe they have more fun of playing TTA again. It feels good to gain points for your own house and to make them proud with that.

«Toshiro» What I like the best is probably that it has different leagues so everyone gets a chance to participate in their own best field :)

«Cefca» I like the idea of the people of TTA being split into four competing groups that range in skills. It's like Harry Potter (I bet you were wondering how long until someone brought that up!) where people earn points for their houses in different ways. People who might not be so good at TTA have other ways to earn points for their houses so they don't feel like their not contributing to the event.

«Shaggz» So far, the diversity of the competition is what I like best. The multiple leagues fit every players style of play, from a deck specific league, all the way to a TTN league. Plus in the coming months more innovated ideas are on the way.

«Kirkee» I like the fact that there are four different leagues for the houses to compete in. It leaves it open for people who may be good at one thing but not so good at another.

«Feeling Lucky» I like the aspect of being able to meet new people. Some people I never talked to before the first project (Kamikaze) and the second project I've become good friends with people like demonic avenger, piggyman, and others who frequent the chat room.

There you have it, folks! Straight from the members! Our fellow Elysians love our leagues, the competition between the Houses for the notorious Elysian Shield, and all the new people they've gotten to meet. Hope they don't think that's all their getting! More events coming in the next few months, including House Olympics, where members of each House will get to showcase their skills in various non-tta related games such as chess, checkers, Pacman, and poker!
