Welcome to The Hot Seat! I'm back again, to give you, the players, the scoop on who's hot. This month's article will be surrounding this year's annual Triad Wars tournament, along with other major tournaments that have supported their cause in being in this article. So, let's get to it!

The first guy in the hot seat is Coops! His improvement over the previous major tournaments has been astounding. After making it to round 2 of Triad Wars IV and round 3 of SE Zell, he has finally made it over the hump, making it to the finals of Triad Wars V. The road to the finals wasn't an easy one, facing off against TTA stars Delial and Grat in the last two rounds. Taking down these great players and reaching the finals of this great tournament is quite a feat and he deserves the first mention!

Next up is Grat! The all-time leader in wins on TTA has certainly been making himself a name amongst tournament finalists. After a slow start in his TTA career in tournaments, Grat has finally showed that he has what it takes to win a tournament. While he has not won one yet, his results in the two most recent major tournaments were both semifinalist. Never before in the previous eleven (11) official tournaments he participated in did he make it this far. Victory is close for Grat, and I foresee a major tournament win not too far away for him. I would be worried if I see him on my side of the bracket in a tournament!

My third pick this month is Seto. He is an extraordinary player, and always has been. But like Grat, he has recently been coming out of the shadows to prove his skill. He has been practically unstoppable in major tournaments lately, until the end. Quarterfinalist in SE-Seifer, Semifinalist in SE-Zell, and 2nd place in Triad Wars IV is the furthest he has gone recently. Finally, after so long of being marked as one of the best players to never win the big one, he has done it and won Triad Wars V! With this win, he joins the list of previous winners. Nobody has repeated this tournament two years in a row, but the way Seto is playing, I wouldn’t put a repeat win past him!

Who will come out of the shadows and go on a hot streak in the upcoming SE Cait Sith tournament? Anyone can go on a hot streak at any time. Only time will tell, but until then, congratulations to Coops and Seto for their strong finishes in Triad Wars! See you guys next month!
